Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert technical guidance to ensure adherence to avionics development standards, testing methodologies, and operational protocols concerning navigation and communication systems.
  • Assess technical documentation to confirm compliance with specifications and airworthiness standards, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Utilize engineering principles to improve the performance and sustainability of military weapon systems in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force (AF) regulations.
  • Enforce Air Force policies related to airworthiness and secure flight authorizations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the design and evaluation of weapon systems based on user-defined requirements.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 15 years of experience in communications engineering, including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Expertise in translating user requirements into technical specifications and system designs.

Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders across various levels.

Comprehensive understanding of engineering practices and standards.

Must possess U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
