Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to work on commercial construction projects across the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Commercial renovations and buildouts
- Job proposals and quotes
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements
- Presentable and able to communicate with customers to build relationships
- Detailed in repairs, including measurements, pictures, and recommendations
- Ability to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate
- Willing and able to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experienced knowledge of carpentry, including partition framing, metal/wood studs, and installation of basic cabinetry/countertops
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and flooring installation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance
- OSHA 10hr certification or completion within 3 months of employment
