Overview

East Liverpool City Hospital, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team in the Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
