Job Title: GTC Alternative Asset Specialist

The GTC Alternative Asset Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of purchases, sales, and in-kind transactions for IRA accounts holding alternative assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process requests to purchase alternative assets in the operating system.
  • Prepare and process requests to liquidate alternative assets in the operating system.
  • Process and prepare requests for In-kind distribution of alternative assets.
  • Prepare various orders to complete requested transactions from clients or brokers.
  • Reconcile with reporting entities and ensure records are accurate.
  • Conduct research as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area.
  • 7 to 11 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
Working Conditions:

The GTC Alternative Asset Specialist works in a normal office setting with controlled temperature and a low noise level, with minimal distractions.

Environmental Conditions:

The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to moderate noise levels.

Physical Activities:

The GTC Alternative Asset Specialist regularly sits, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears; frequently stands, walks.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
