About the Role

This is a highly skilled position within the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), where you will play a critical role in investigating matters related to mental health, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities. As an Investigator-RN or LPN, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive investigations into various cases
  • Interviewing individuals with relevant information
  • Gathering and analyzing evidence
  • Developing detailed investigation reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursing, with either an RN or LPN license. You must also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes health and dental insurance, retirement and savings plan options, and paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.

In terms of required skills and qualifications, we are seeking individuals with a Master's degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with three years of experience, or four years of professional experience may also be considered.
