Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a Food Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new food products, improving existing product lines, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement new food products, including frozen meals, sauces, and other related products
* Improve existing product lines by reformulating ingredients, optimizing production processes, and enhancing product functionality
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure product quality and safety
* Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer research to inform product development decisions
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in food product development, formulation, and production
* Strong knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and safety regulations
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
