- Maintain high standards of accuracy through regular equipment calibration and data evaluation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Communicate test findings effectively with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient management.
- Adhere to established protocols, safety measures, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed about advancements in laboratory science and ensure adherence to current regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology is required.
- Current Continuing Education Units (CEUs) documentation is necessary.
- Preferred experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or titers is required.
- Documentation of TB/PPD or a Chest X-ray conducted within the last year.
- Annual health clearance must be maintained.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
