About the Role

Rivier University is seeking a part-time Mathematics Adjunct Faculty member to teach face-to-face courses on our campus. As a Mathematics Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics and Statistics courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decisions

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Previous teaching experience in Mathematics or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all levels and abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Support the Mission of Rivier University

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching Mathematics courses at the undergraduate level
  • Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment
