Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Parts Department Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Parts Department, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management, customer service, and sales performance.
  • Establish Out-of-Stock Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive out-of-stock strategy to minimize customer disappointment and ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide ongoing training and coaching to Parts Department associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Drive Department Profitability: Analyze sales data and inventory levels to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to increase department profitability.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with Sales, Service, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and increased sales.
Requirements
  • Effective Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience managing a Parts Department and personnel.
  • Inventory Management Experience: Have a solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices, including inventory control, stockroom management, and cycle counting.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
