Job Title: Part-Time Tennis Instructor

About the Job:

The Department of Campus Recreation at Penn State University is seeking qualified part-time tennis instructors to lead group and individual tennis lessons. As a tennis instructor, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and safe learning environment for participants of all skill levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct group and individual tennis lessons
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of participants
• Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and attend mandatory trainings and meetings

Requirements:

• Prior tennis experience required
• Ability to play above a UTR level 4
• Varsity high school experience preferred

Clearances:

This position requires the following clearances:

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check
