Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and prioritize interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Clinical Expertise: Apply advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide proficient, age-specific, and developmentally/specialty-appropriate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately and concisely document patient information, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing, required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
- Licensure and Certification: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, required; ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification; TNCC certification preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience, required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, written and oral communication.
