Job Summary

Ameripharma seeks a dedicated IT Specialist - Network and Support to join our dynamic IT team, supporting our mission of quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be proactive in learning, consistently following up on cases, and dedicated to resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide Level 1 support to resolve issues across hardware, software, and network connectivity for Ameripharma staff, ensuring efficient use of Google Workspace, Office 365, Wellsky by CPR+, CareTend, and Windows 10/11.
  • System and Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain IT inventory, ensuring all hardware and software assets are tracked accurately and managed to optimize system performance.
  • Remote Support and Troubleshooting: Use tools like ScreenConnect to provide remote troubleshooting support, perform system updates, resolve connectivity issues, and manage configurations for employees in multiple locations.
  • Vendor Communication: Serve as a point of contact with third-party vendors, handling support calls, escalating as needed, and ensuring detailed documentation and follow-ups.
  • VoIP and Network Management: Troubleshoot Nextiva VoIP systems and manage user setups.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or similar technical support role.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Office 365, and VoIP systems (Nextiva experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of inventory management, VPN configurations, SonicWall firewalls, and basic understanding of VMWARE ESXi and Windows Server.
  • Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IP addressing, DNS), VPNs, and remote access.
  • Familiarity with ScreenConnect and other remote access tools.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 basics and a solid understanding of hardware fundamentals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and patience in resolving end-user issues.
