Multimedia Journalist

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Journalist to join our team at Sinclair Broadcast Group. As a key member of our news department, you will be responsible for creating engaging stories for our newscast and website. Your duties will include developing contacts, pitching impactful enterprise stories, and working closely with our news team to deliver high-quality content. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of our "On Your Side" brand and be able to convey its values through your storytelling. Additionally, you will need to have excellent writing and copy-editing skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines. **Responsibilities:**

* Create, write, and edit meaningful stories for our newscast and website
* Develop contacts and pitch impactful enterprise stories
* Work closely with our news team to deliver high-quality content
* Have a strong understanding of our "On Your Side" brand and be able to convey its values through your storytelling
* Have excellent writing and copy-editing skills
* Be able to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines

**Requirements:**

* Proven knowledge and experience working with current media creation tools and contemporary newsroom systems
* Excel in storytelling across multiple platforms
* Have a great understanding of our "On Your Side" brand in storytelling
* Have strong writing and copy-editing skills
* Have a Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field
* Have at least 5 years of experience as a Reporter
* Be able to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
