Overview

First Citizens Bank is seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our Commercial Lending team. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our lenders, ensuring seamless sales and servicing processes for our clients and loan portfolios.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Identify sales and cross-sell opportunities, coordinate materials for presentations, set up sales calls, maintain prospect lists, and make joint calls as needed.
  • Documentation Support: Originate, process, and ensure accuracy of loan documentation for closings, including entering financial information into the loan system and ensuring all necessary documentation is included in the loan package prior to closing.
  • Credit Servicing Support: Resolve documentation exception issues, maintain service levels, update financial statements, and prepare files for all portfolio reviews. Run reports to track maturing lines/loans and service levels.
  • Past Due Credits: Communicate, report, and follow up on portfolio past dues to ensure they remain current, while maintaining customer contact.
  • Customer Service/Office Support: Coordinate opening of deposit and other banking services with branch partners, handle customer requests for information and problem resolution.
Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
    • High school or GED
    • 4+ years of experience in sales or lending support
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in commercial loan documentation or commercial lending support
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Highly organized
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
