About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and specialized imaging modalities.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Process and label images, ensuring quality and accuracy, and call back patients as necessary.
  • Assist and consult with radiologists, working independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain records, entering patient and study information into the radiology information system and documenting billing codes.
  • Serve as a technical resource, role model, and preceptor for students and staff, promoting education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
