Responsibilities- Provide primary and specialty healthcare services to patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and promote health education.
- Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice, including admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
- Make referrals to specialists and community agencies as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop plans for patients and their families.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Three years of clinical experience in the area of specialty.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license, Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license, and National Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty.
- Valid DEA registration and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
