Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a vital member of our Emergency Medicine team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Level II Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examinations, to identify their medical needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Current California RN license and NP certification.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting.
- Two years of experience as a NP providing specialized care for patients in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care setting within the past three years.
