We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and improving their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop an appropriate plan of care for patients with bodily impairments and functional limitations.
- Treat patients who present with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Design and implement a treatment plan of care utilizing evidence-based practices and recommended techniques and modalities.
- Monitor patient's response and progress to treatment and modify treatment plan as appropriate.
- Document and charge accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology.
- Provide discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and follow up services.
- Licensed in Florida as a Physical Therapist OR Temporary State permit as Physical Therapist.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive hourly rate of $55.95.
- Part-time schedule with 16 hours per week.
