Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to support our Decontamination and Decommissioning (D D) project at Fort Greely, Alaska. The selected candidate will be responsible for effectively managing specific work activities on the site, with primary focus on D D projects.
- The Assistant Project Manager will serve as a backup to key positions on the project, including Quality Control Systems Manager and Site Manager.
- This role is part of the Project Management Office (PMO), implementing complex, multi-year projects through identification and completion of critical path and parallel work activities to achieve optimal performance.
Travel and/or long-term project assignments are required.

- Development of corrective action plans for troubled projects.
- Overall coordination of initial work planning/scoping, working with operations and engineering to develop a resource-loaded schedule and cost estimate.
- Bachelor of Science in relevant degree (Engineering, Physical Science).
- PMP Certification desired.
- USACE Contractor Quality Control Systems Management qualified or ability to obtain qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience using Earned Value Management Systems and using Primavera 6 or similar project management software.
Must be a US Citizen. For additional information, please refer to DOE Order 472.2. Current security clearance preferred or the ability to obtain one.
