Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide support for the Division of Visual Art & Design- Architecture/Interior Design departments at the Taylorsville SLCC campus Technology Building.

The successful candidate will assist faculty with miscellaneous tasks, maintain a clean working environment, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering division phone calls and directing walk-in traffic
  • Fielding student, staff, and faculty inquiries and communicating effectively
  • Creating and maintaining various documents and records
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting records/reports
  • Maintaining architecture/interior design classrooms and lab areas
  • Reporting general division problems and performing simple equipment and furniture repairs/replacements
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining good working relationships


Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with experience working in an office and/or customer service setting. Must be Work Study eligible and registered for 9.0 credit hours for Fall and Spring semesters.

Preferred Qualifications: Some work experience in a College/University environment and/or some scholastic experience in taking and passing college-level courses. Excellent communication and organization skills are essential for this role.
