About the Role

The New Jewish Home is seeking a skilled Dietary Technician to support our Food and Nutrition Department in Mamaroneck. This full-time position will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutrition services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Review and document resident weights, including monthly and weekly weight changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of weights for each unit
  • Participate in resident care plan meetings and coordinate individualized menus
  • Conduct meal rounds and ensure timely delivery of nutrition services
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Dietetics or Bachelor's degree with DTR certification
  • 1 year of experience as a Dietary Technician, preferably in Long Term Care
  • Proficiency with EM software and computer literacy
  • Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic diets
