About the Role

Amazon is seeking an experienced International Tax Analyst to join its Worldwide Reporting and Compliance team based in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex tax calculations, process improvements, and data automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Amazon's initiatives related to Pillar Two calculations, analysis, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation.
  • Contribute to Amazon's U.S. tax reporting and compliance obligations for non-U.S. operations.
  • Work with advanced cloud-based calculation models to analyze large datasets.
  • Drive process improvements and coordinate with technology advisors to streamline calculations.
  • Stay up-to-date on tax policy, legislation, and regulatory developments.
  • Research advanced international tax issues and provide tax-technical support to Amazon's tax controversy teams.
About the Team

This opportunity will join a diverse team of experienced tax professionals responsible for tax controllership related to U.S. international tax rules and cross-border tax regimes.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries.
  • 6+ months of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of data-focused technology tools, such as Python, SQL, or Alteryx.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • CPA certification.
  • Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting.
  • Prior tax experience in public accounting or large corporate multi-national enterprise.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,000/year in our highest geographic market.
