Ed Voyles Automotive Group is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Porter to enhance our sales operations. The Porter plays a crucial role in supporting Sales Consultants throughout the sales journey by executing essential tasks that contribute to achieving sales objectives without directly closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure demonstration vehicles are ready for display
- Retrieve vehicles from inventory as required
- Refuel vehicles for deliveries and demonstrations
- Clean and maintain vehicles as necessary
- Transport sold vehicles to the preparation center
- Keep all vehicles in showroom condition
- Manage vehicle inventory effectively
- Deliver vehicles to clients or transport to offsite facilities for additional services
- Assist in conducting monthly physical inventory checks
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess the ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle. The qualifications outlined below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role. Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or GED is required; alternatively, one to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
A valid Operator Driver's License is required (must be insurable and capable of driving a standard transmission).
