About the Position

This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities and custodial equipment, as well as setting up and taking down special equipment for assemblies, special programs, and other activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations at all times
  • Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, and steps, as well as restrooms and locker rooms daily
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities and custodial equipment
  • Set up and take down special equipment for assemblies, special programs, and other activities
  • Assist in the cafeteria during lunch and assist in cleaning the kitchen
  • Guard property against fire, theft, and illegal entry
  • Provide security for buildings by attending to the physical plant during open hours and securing doors, windows, and restricted areas during closed hours
