About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team at Golden Steps ABA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients with Autism.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct 1:1 ABA Therapy Sessions: Implement individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21, conducting 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the home or community setting.
  • Behavioral Intervention and Teamwork: Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations, and parent training as needed, maintaining open and direct communication with the BCBA and other RBT team members.
  • Supervision and Data Entry: Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided, and enter data and all trials utilized daily for each pediatric patient for all programs targeted.
  • Professional Development: Remain available for all supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred, but not required. High School Degree required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 35lbs, bend, and squat for up to an hour per day, with fine and gross motor skills, and ability to sit or stand for periods of time.
