Schneider is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to join our intermodal team in Marion, OH. As a local intermodal truck driver, you will haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 100% no-touch freight that is mostly drop-and-hook. You will drive in and out of railyards within Michigan and Ohio.
Key Responsibilities- Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
- Drive in and out of railyards within Michigan and Ohio.
- 100% no-touch freight that is mostly drop-and-hook.
- Hourly pay and load pay.
- Paid orientation.
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
- Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
- Live within 50 miles of Marion, OH, North Baltimore, OH or Obetz, OH.
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
