About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment plans are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy, selecting anatomic parameters accurately.
  • Deliver patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
  • Adjust and maintain necessary equipment, including linear accelerators.
  • Ensure high-quality images and documents are submitted to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • No experience required, but a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices is essential.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
