Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with selecting building materials and supplies, answering questions, and providing product information.
  • Cut lumber and related materials to size requested by customers.
  • Assist customers with loading purchased materials into their vehicles.
  • Mark prices on merchandise or apply price stickers according to pricing guides.
  • Straighten materials on display to maintain safe and orderly conditions in sales areas.
  • Cover exposed materials to prevent weather damage.
  • Count and record material totals on inventory sheets.
  • Participate in special projects as necessary and be available to work weekends.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level position with heavier lifting required.
  • Knowledge of building materials is helpful.
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus.
  • Must be available to work weekends.
