Job Summary

Penn State Hazleton is seeking a Part Time Lecturer in Physical Therapy Assistant to teach undergraduate level courses in the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach one to three undergraduate level courses (1-3 credits each; up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester) each spring and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs.
  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of full-time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy practice.
  • Active, unrestricted PT license or PTA license/certification in any United States jurisdiction.
  • Compliance with the state practice act in Pennsylvania.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
