Busser

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Pangloss Cellars. As a key member of our back-of-house team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary department.

• Pre-Service Preparation: Prepare the property and facilities for guests daily, including setting up and breaking down private tastings.
• Culinary Support: Assist with food prep, plating, and service per the current menu and instructions.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain facility cleanliness, wash, dry, and fold hand towels for guest restrooms, and keep the kitchen and related areas clean and organized.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough knowledge of our wine, food, and tasting complements.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the supervisor to identify opportunities to decrease waste and increase efficiency.

• Age and Experience: Must be 18 or older, with prior kitchen experience and basic knife skills preferred.
• Certifications: Current Food Handler Certificate preferred or complete within 30 days of hire.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, ability to read, write, and follow involved directions and recipes, and a positive attitude.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift 40+ pounds repeatedly, be on your feet for extended periods, and climb a flight of stairs multiple times during shift.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19-$23/hr (inclusive of gratuity), health/dental insurance, and retirement savings benefit options.
