Job Summary

Summary: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using assigned equipment and procedures.
  • Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, and buffing wheels.
  • Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keep the dish area orderly and clean, and sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and help load and unload supplies and product.
