Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development and Implementation: Design and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff, including clinical skills, safety protocols, and resident care standards.
- Staff Training and Development: Develop and coordinate orientation programs for new staff members, ongoing in-service training, and continuing education opportunities to ensure all nursing staff are up to date with the latest best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the nursing staff complies with all state and federal regulations, including mandatory training and certification requirements. Maintain accurate records of staff training and development activities.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting professional growth.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support staff development and enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
- Licensure: Current RN license in Massachusetts required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or similar setting. Previous experience in staff development, education, or a leadership role preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification: Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), or similar certification is a plus.
