Job Summary: Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Illinois.

About the Job: As a Physical Therapy Assistant with Synergy Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting patient evaluations and developing treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by physical therapists.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Illinois.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
