Aerospace Fastener Fabrication Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hot Forge Specialist to join our team at Houston Precision Fasteners. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-strength, fatigue-rated fasteners used in mission-critical applications.

Job Summary: As a Hot Forge Specialist, you will operate punch presses with induction heating to hot forge heads for aerospace fasteners. You will monitor temperature, apply lubricants, and feed bolts through the press. Additionally, you will lead a team with minimal supervision and make decisions to solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Read routers to determine specified tolerances and sequences of operations for machine setup
  • Operate forging machines to perform hot forging to taper, shape, or form metal
  • Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure conformance to product specifications
  • Adjust punch press set-ups under nominal supervision
  • Maintain accurate counts and documentation for all jobs in production software

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in forging
  • Experience managing and directing a function or department
  • Advanced knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
