Construction Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at ONE Gas. As a key member of our construction and maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of our pipeline systems.

• Perform advanced level inspections and oversee employees engaged in construction, maintenance, and operation of pipeline systems
• Manage and inspect work performed by employees and contractors to ensure compliance with company and government standards
• Train and direct employees in steel welding, plastic fusion construction, and maintenance activities
• Compile and prepare reports, including completion reports, inspection logs, and training/testing records
• Investigate customer-related orders and emergency situations, including low-pressure calls, Class 1 leaks, and fires/explosions

• 3+ years of experience in construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution pipeline systems
• Experience in basic use and function of computers and computer software
• Training in working in excavations and confined spaces, customer service, and company and government operating/safety procedures
• Knowledge of welding procedures, regulators, chart meters, well meters, cathodic protection, and leakage survey
• Ability to read and write fluently in English and lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
