Equipment Operations Specialist:

The Equipment Operations Specialist is responsible for performing ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on process equipment within our assigned operating areas. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills to ensure optimal operation of the equipment.

  • Complete emergency repair work on process related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
  • Perform line turnarounds, changeovers, and preventative maintenance per established procedures.
  • Responsible for equipment performance through data monitoring within the assigned operating area.

Key Responsibilities:

The Equipment Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Executing setup and changeover support for process equipment used in classified areas.
  • Providing training to operators for equipment setup and minor adjustments or repairs.
  • Installing new equipment and overseeing equipment upgrades according to site SOPs.
  • Maintaining organization of operating areas through 5S activities.
  • Working with minimal supervision under the direction of maintenance leads.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a regulated production environment with equipment maintenance and performance responsibility.
  • Knowledge of automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
  • Ability to interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics.
  • Proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo or SAP.
