Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing.
  • Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
