We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Veterinary Specialists of Alaska. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Job Summary:The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care, including surgical nursing, medication administration, and monitoring
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as consultations and surgeries
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Contribute to a clean and safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician in Alaska
- Minimum one year of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Competitive hourly rate: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
