Job Title: Exercise Physiologist

The California Department of Education is seeking a highly qualified Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for teaching athletic training courses and serving as a trainer for intercollegiate and pre-season team sports.

**Responsibilities:**

* Teach athletic training courses and serve as a trainer for intercollegiate and pre-season team sports.
* Participate in the assessment of student work and timely submission of grades.
* Evaluate and assess student performance, including administrative and student evaluations.
* Participate in various campus and staff development activities.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
* A valid certification in athletic training or a related field.
* Experience in teaching and training in athletic training or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions:**

* Indoor, office environment.
* Regularly stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
* Bending at waist, kneeling, or crouching.
* Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
* Lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs.

**Note:** Official Transcripts verifying qualifications will be REQUIRED prior to an offer of employment. Applicants who have international transcripts must obtain transcripts that are evaluated by an independent educational-equivalency evaluation company and obtain an English translation (if necessary).

**Salary Range:** Actual placement is based on applicant's verified education and experience.
