Job Responsibilities and QualificationsAt HCA West Florida, we are devoted to delivering a premier experience for every patient. As part of our team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals who are making a significant impact on the health and lives of the West Florida community. We are looking for an Ultrasound Technician to provide ultrasound services as directed by physicians, adhering to established standards and practices under the supervision of a Radiologist. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Address special requests and needs from department leadership and colleagues promptly and positively.
- Exhibit effective communication skills in all forms: written, verbal, telephone, and non-verbal cues.
- Assist in orienting new hires and students as needed.
- Demonstrate accountability in recognizing and addressing potential patient issues, collecting accurate data, and implementing the patient care plan in line with departmental standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma with some college or technical training.
- ARMDS Registered (AB or OBGYN) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- ARDMS (RVT) certification required (new hires must obtain within six months of hire).
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
