We're currently seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer - Cloud to join our talented team of experts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and maintain Aurora's cloud infrastructure and development platform, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.

About the Role

In this position, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that enhances productivity and improves development velocity.
  • Creating self-service observability tools and services that enable developers to debug and support web services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, drive projects forward, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of experience shipping commercial products and services, preferably in Go.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and building services on Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with production code writing in one of three languages: Go, Python, or C++.
