As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction, developing project estimates and schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review project estimates and schedules, including manpower forecasts and material key quantities
  • Establish and track project progress, providing analysis and forecasts as needed
  • Develop and review project specifications, including design criteria and equipment selection
  • Participate in project activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting
  • Perform and check complex engineering calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of varying complexity
  • Participate in people development through mentoring, training, and performance appraisal input and counseling
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity
Requirements:
  • Accredited four-year degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or global equivalent in engineering field of study
  • At least ten years of work-related experience in engineering, with a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Professional registration and membership in technical society
  • Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials
  • Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting
  • Managing and leading a large project
