- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
- Equipment Maintenance and Tool Control: Manage equipment maintenance and tool control programs, ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
- Site Safety and Accident Prevention: Develop and implement site safety and accident prevention programs, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for solar technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory control of assigned equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Quality Control: Maintain high-quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materials, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to and from job sites.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in solar power plant operations, maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of renewable energy systems, electrical components, and digital multi-meters. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 80 Lbs.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
