About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team at Little Words Project's Mall of America location. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting our brand story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate in-store beading appointments, parties, and other special events to create memorable experiences for our customers.
  • Introduce new products to customers and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Answer questions related to merchandise and store policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately on the POS system to maintain a seamless shopping experience.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked sales floor to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist in maintaining back stock and setting up merchandise on the sales floor to ensure a visually appealing environment.
  • Operational tasks such as inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, and KPIs to drive business results.
  • Assist customers at the bead-your-own bracelet table by tying their bracelets to create a unique and engaging experience.
  • Fulfill in-store custom orders by beading bracelets and contacting customers when complete to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to support the team's goals.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Retail Experience is preferred to understand the industry and our brand.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Desire to be creative in terms of the beading table and capturing content to showcase our brand.
  • Problem-solving attitude to address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays to meet customer demands.
  • Passion for learning and sharing Little Words Project's core values, including positivity and kindness to promote a positive work environment.
