Maintenance Technician

At TC Transcontinental, we've got it made, and that's because of the expertise of our team. We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support production at our Tulsa, OK plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Transcontinental's mechanical equipment and property while practicing preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair daily issues, concerns, and problems that may occur.
  • Perform tasks in a safe and productive manner, according to safety guidelines and procedures, including company rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in a technical field such as electrical or mechatronics preferred.
  • Maintenance experience with machine centers using PLC's, pneumatics, servo motors, electrical, and mechanical operations.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of employees.
  • Strong analytical, innovative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work from a ladder or platform.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Position requires flexibility to include shift changes and overtime; must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Regular predictable, and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Possess safety conscientiousness and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
