Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant in Edinburg, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral and academic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and services provided.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in school psychology.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Virginia state licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Certification from the Virginia Department of Education for School Psychologists.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to special education.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
