Aims Community College is seeking a skilled Facility Lead - Physical Education to join our team. This is a part-time position with hours on the Greeley and/or Windsor Campus.

About the Role:
As a Facility Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the Physical Education and Recreation facility operations. You will coordinate daily duties of the Physical Education & Recreation Part-Time Staff, manage daily logs of events and happenings within the Physical Education & Recreation Center, and ensure all facility policies are adhered to by the Physical Education & Recreation Center users.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily duties of the Physical Education & Recreation Part-Time Staff.
  • Manage daily logs of events and happenings within the Physical Education & Recreation Center.
  • Ensure all facility policies are adhered to by the Physical Education & Recreation Center users.
  • Take on a leadership role among the recreation center staff.
  • Act as the liaison between the guest-facing staff and the department administrators.
  • Take the lead in emergency scenarios and proper communication/documentation is required.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of physical education or 4 years in physical education, recreation and/or wellness operations or facility with 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Hold a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain.
  • This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
  • Physical effort required, including but not limited to: lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking. A pre-employment post offer physical exam will be required of the selected candidate.
  • Able to attend in-house meetings and training sessions.
  • Possess effective decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of all cardiovascular studio and strength center operations, including proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment.
