Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the care and safety of surgical patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the physician with the preparation of and the technical aspects of the role of the scrub person during surgical procedures.
  • Perform routine technical and various other duties as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required.
  • Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure.
  • Maintains sensitivity, maturity, and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.

Education and Certification

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certification by an entity accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies required (must be obtained within 12 months of completing the training program).
