Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a dynamic, board-certified surgical physician/leader to serve as the Chair of Surgery at Saint Marys Hospital located in Waterbury, Connecticut.

This is an exciting opportunity to implement your vision and leadership in a flourishing environment. The Chair will oversee all aspects of service line quality, operations, and growth. This includes overseeing and supporting our various certifications, such as Level II Trauma Designation, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation, and participation in the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Project (NSQIP).

We are looking for an individual who can be an excellent resource for surgical resident and fellow training, foster physician development, and be a visionary who can help guide the growth and development of the surgical service line.

The successful candidate should be a board-certified and established general surgeon or fellowship-trained surgical subspecialist with at least seven years of clinical experience and proven experience operating in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should be a strong relationship-builder who can relate and work collaboratively with, and provide oversight to, both our employed and community physicians.

With a competitive base salary of $400,000 per year and additional incentives, you will thrive within Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.
