Description

Job Summary:

As a Product Advisor at Dover Saddlery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with prompt and courteous service, answering questions and suggesting products
  • Process payments, handle customer refunds, and process merchandise shipments
  • Assist with store upkeep, including cleaning and organizing the sales floor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • Must have equestrian experience and a basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management
  • Ability to work as part of a team, take initiative, and multi-task while being attentive to customers
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
  • Available to work a variety of hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or in pursuit of a diploma


Working Conditions:

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for most of the shift. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
